Really? Plato... no wonder you're so out there. His student, Aristotle, was by far his superior, although the degree to which he was still platonic was enough to hamper him from a fuller understanding of reality, also the whole Greek idea that consciousness isn't something, why he decided the law of identity didn't apply there is rooted in his intrinsic view of reality.
